Today we unveiled a new welcome video for Syrian newcomers arriving in our province. The video, New Brunswick: Hope Restoredexplains the many aspects and benefits of living in our beautiful province.

Narrated in Arabic (with subtitles in either French or English) by Layla Rahmeh, a Syrian refugee, the video describes what it is like to live in NB and what newcomers can expect in regards to geography, work, education and much more!

“For more than 200 years, people from around the world have escaped poverty, starvation, and persecution, and found hope here” says Layla in the video.  “For many of you, hope was almost lost.  Here in New Brunswick, it can be restored.”

Please join us in giving all newcomers the friendliest New Brunswick welcome!
